Websites with an editor’s eye.

The same discipline that shaped decades of catalogs — hierarchy, rhythm, respect for the image — applied to living publications. R10 Studio designed and built every platform on this page, and still runs the Cincinnati ones.

Cincinnati

Echoes, Jorge’s critical journal, and the two platforms of The Annex — one shared editorial system.

Since 2021 · Bilingual journal of visual criticism

Echoes

Notes on Visual Narrative

Jorge Rodríguez Diez’s own journal of visual criticism: photographs, advertising, design and contemporary art read closely as systems of signs. It is the first of the platforms and set the editorial system the others grew from.

Digital archive recovery

A service of its own: lost websites and publications brought back from web caches, as close to the original as possible.

Since 2025 · Digital archive recovery

ÆQAI Archives

Bringing a lost art journal back online

ÆQAI, Cincinnati’s online journal of art criticism, disappeared from the web together with its original site, aeqai.com. Working from the Internet Archive’s Wayback Machine, R10 Studio extracted the texts, followed the traces left in the cached pages to locate the original or related images, restored them digitally and republished each article as close to its original form as possible. Some 600 articles have been recovered so far, readable again inside The Annex Updated.
