Del trazo al volumen (2008) set out to explore an area of aesthetic experimentation in the work of three major Cuban artists: Roberto Fabelo, Roberto Diago and Agustín Bejarano. Artists who had usually worked within painting, drawing or printmaking, they ventured successfully into sculpture and installation without abandoning the imagery that characterizes their pictorial work.
